E-Trends Trekker review

E-Trends Trekker review

An electric mountain bike (E-MTB) for all grounds, this robust but heavy bike is powerful for long rides. With a lightweight frame, we found it heavy, but easy to ride with a comfortable saddle, a well seasoned handlebar and a powerful pedal assistance, which allowed us to take up to 15 mph and tackle Highly steep hills.

The bike is not preparing to follow – and is difficult to put together. This is the help of the pedal, via its 250 W engine and three speeds, is excellent during an apartment and you go to a gradient, giving you an extra thrust when you need it. However, it does not work as well when you start on a hill, with barely moving pedals.

If you are looking for a bike to use for longer rides, with more difficult terrain, this model has a suspension fork, which means you feel less impact. While its 36V7.5Ah battery, once invoiced last days, if not weeks – which means you will not miss any current when you need it the most.

The Trekker E-Trends Trekker was published in November 2020 and costs 1,999 £ (about $ 1,600 / $ 2,200) directly from the electronic trend. You can also find it more at a lower cost on Amazon if you live in the UK.

It is relatively cheap for an electronic and very reasonable bike for an E-ATV mounting with front suspension. For the context, our upper updated e-bike bike, Cowboy 4, is a road model that costs almost twice as much at £ 2,290 (or $ 1,990 if you are able to hang one for the price of birds to the copy of the United States).

You can definitely find cheaper e-MTBs if you challine Amazon, but you have a chance on the quality of construction and customer service. Electronic trends may not be as many household name as Raleigh or Trek, but it is a bike constructor established with a sound reputation.

Design

The Trekker e-trends, with its lightweight aluminum alloy frame and 27.5 inches set, is not the lightest model. It weighs at 49lb (22 kg), but feels robust reassuring when you attack hills and accident land. The bike is finished with an adjustable leather saddle, durable pedals and handlebars with a lot of adhesion.

Unlike some electronic bikes, which are ready to ride, the Trekker e-tendencies required a small assembly. The setting up of the bike took time because the front wheel, seat, pedals and handles were to be attached. We had trouble tying the handlebars, which we put back to the back to start. The front wheel took the time to set up a little time, mainly because the instructions are basic at best, and there were only small tools included to help.

The seat, which has a black finish to complete the rest of the bike, was easy to use, but continued to move as we did, and it took us some attempts to achieve how to cut it safely. The wheels are big, but thinner than a few bikes – but they felt strong on the road. The wheels have reflectors, but there are no bike lights for the night, so you will have to invest in yourself.

The lithium battery is located in the main bike setting, and it is easy to load by turning the small key. This goes relatively unnoticed if not and does not spoil the aesthetics of the bike.

As the e-tendencies trends are large enough, a length of 178 cm and a height of 108 cm, we had trouble keeping in our apartment without it going on the way, so we would have recommended d have an outdoor space or garage to store in.

Performance

The Trekker e-trends is easy to browse, with the help of the pedal giving a welcome boost when you need it. The electric bike comes from life when you turn on the left commands and tap the up and down buttons to increase and decrease battery support. The bike has a 250 W engine and offers three levels of hill or ground support you are attacking.

A full charge takes about five hours and the battery life is also shown on the LCD screen so that you are always conscious of the quantity or the small left. The battery, which is in the frame, can be loaded under the bike or outside, and once invoiced will last up to 30 miles, depending on the driving conditions.
