New World may have a fix for its tedious queue times

The new Amazon world was launched yesterday, and like many MMOs that came before that, New World had server problems on the first day. With players who face long queues that can sometimes stretch for hours, Amazon added a new server to several areas of yesterday, but it turned out that it was not the only tool that had to fight long queuing times.

Amazon has also confirmed that it will open the transfer server for the next two weeks, making it free for everyone who wants it. This, in turn, will allow them to a solid server to jump to the less populated, potentially reducing the amount of time spent waiting in the queue.

“We understand that some players experience a long queue time and we work hard on some things to help overcome this problem,” Amazon wrote in the post of the New World website. “We continue to stand additional servers and will expand our existing server capacity so we have tested this change correctly.”

The company continues to add for the next two weeks, all players will be able to “move their characters to their new server choices at no cost.” It looks like we can only get one server transfer, because Amazon pushes players “to strengthen your long-term plan for you and your company.” In addition to making players from a crowded server, this free transfer server can also be used to meet friends who might have chosen the server without consulting everyone in their circle first.

In addition to free server transfers, Amazon spent yesterday add new servers to the Na East, Na West and Australia regions. We have never heard of additional servers today, but more likely to be added when people flock to the game tonight.
