Over the past decade, smartphones have become an integral part of almost every aspect of our daily lives. In turn, losing a smartphone can be a terrible experience because it can provide thieves with access to all kinds of sensitive financial and personal information. Given that, iOS 15 has a new feature nicknamed a separation warning that can help you from losing your iPhone.
Never leave your iPhone
The separation warning feature may not be exciting, but of course it is important. As part of the findings of my service service, the core of the separation warning is simple. This feature effectively gives you notifications if you leave an iOS device.
For example, imagine you work in a coffee shop. You have a MacBook, iPad, Apple Watch, and iPhone with you. Now imagine it when you pack your things to go, you forget your iPhone behind. In this scenario, the application software I will detect that your iPhone is getting farther away. In turn, you will receive notifications to Apple Watch or your iPad which shows that your iPhone is left behind.
Apple Description reads: “If you leave a device, airtag, or a third-party item that is compatible behind, your iPhone will tell you with a notification, and find I will give you instructions to your item.”
Setting up this simple iOS feature. All you have to do is go to the application Find me, select the device in the Tool Bill below, and then show which device you want to receive the notification.
Note that you can also set the exception zone for separation warnings. It’s useful if there is a place, like your home, for example, where it’s not uncommon for you to leave certain devices.
Look for the missing iPhone no matter what
Other iOS 15 features that are worth mentioning involving the stolen iphone location. If the nightmare scenario appears where your iPhone is stolen, it is still possible to find it even if it has been erased.
As Apple Notes, the discovery of my network under iOS 15 can track the iPhone stolen even if a thief removes it. Apple next add: “To help ensure that nothing is fooled to buy your device, the Hello screen will clearly show that your device is locked, locatable, and still yours.”
